
News Topical, Digital Desk : UP News: The dark deeds of a Maulvi have come to light in a madrasa located in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, where on Saturday (31 May), on the pretext of teaching, the Maulvi raped a 15-year-old girl and fled from the spot. After which, when the victim somehow reached her home, she told her family about the incident, on which the victim's family reached the police station and gave a written complaint letter against the accused Maulvi and demanded action. On which the police immediately registered a case against the accused Maulvi under serious sections and arrested him and sent him to jail today (2 June).
Actually, Maulvi Saddam Hussain of a madrasa located in Subhash Nagar locality of Nai Mandi Kotwali area raped a 15-year-old girl on the pretext of teaching her on Saturday. While the accused Maulvi fled from the spot after committing this crime, the victim somehow reached her home and told her family about the incident. On which the victim's family reached Nai Mandi Kotwali and gave a written complaint letter against the accused Maulvi Saddam Hussain and demanded action. On which the police immediately registered a case against the accused Maulvi under section 65 (1), 352 BNS and POCSO Act and today the accused Maulvi Saddam Hussain has been arrested and sent to jail.
Giving information about this, CO New Mandi Rupali Rao said that yesterday on 31st May 2025, a complaint was received at Police Station New Mandi in which the family members alleged that their daughter was taken to a madrasa on the pretext of teaching by a Maulvi and a case was registered under POCSO and rape and other relevant sections. Taking cognizance of such a serious crime with a minor, Police Station New Mandi immediately formed a team and left for the arrest and within 24 hours the accused Saddam has been arrested and further legal action is being taken after the arrest.
