News Topical, Digital Desk : A young man, who was released on bail after serving a life sentence in a murder case, kidnapped a deaf and mute teenager, held her hostage, and raped her.

When the family protested, the accused threatened to kill them and fled. The victim's mother has filed a case. Police are searching for the absconding accused. A 13-year-old girl from a village was taken to his home by a 42-year-old convicted neighbor at 6 pm on Wednesday after threatening her.

There, he locked the girl in a room and raped her. When the girl did not return home for a long time, her mother and relatives, informed by villagers, went to her house, but she did not open the door.

When the family went to complain to the police, the accused abandoned the girl and fled. CO Saurabh Singh said that based on the mother's complaint, a case of kidnapping, hostage taking, and rape has been registered against the accused.
