
News Topical, Digital Desk : Mumbai News: Mumbai's MIDC Police Station has arrested seven Bangladeshi citizens from Kurla and Pune areas of Mumbai, including 6 Bangladeshi women. All of them were brought to Mumbai by luring them with the promise of a job.
Mumbai Police arrested 7 Bangladeshi citizens for living illegally in India. Police said that the arrested Bangladeshi citizen Bayjid Ayub Sheikh illegally brought Bangladeshi women to India by luring them with jobs in big cities like Mumbai and Pune and had brought them with the intention of pushing these women into prostitution, but before this the police arrested everyone.
Bangladeshis were living in Kurla
According to the police, all these Bangladeshi citizens were living illegally in Kurla area of Mumbai for a few months. All of them were living in Mumbai without any valid documents. Police said that during interrogation, all of them accepted that they are citizens of Bangladesh and were living in India without valid documents for a few months. After being arrested, all of them were presented in the court where the court sent all of them to judicial custody.
MIDC police raided Kurla and Pune areas on the basis of secret information and nabbed this gang. If this action was not taken in time, these women could have been pushed into a big prostitution racket. All the arrested accused were presented in the court, where the court sent them to judicial custody. At present, the police is investigating this entire network in depth to find out if any big international human trafficking gang is active behind this.

2) Nasreen Begum (38 years old)
3) Rozina Akhtar (39 years old)
4) Kakoli Akhtar Md. Nobi Hussain Brishti (25 years old)
5) Roma Begum Md. Jilani Miyan (31 years old)
6) Pakhi Begum Musharraf Hussain (24 years old)
7) Kohinoor Akhtar alias Oliza Abdul Monan Sheikh (26 years old)
