Mumbai on high alert after Delhi blast; security beefed up in several areas, investigative agencies on high alert

News Topical, Digital Desk : Following the car bombing at Delhi's Red Fort on Monday (November 10), an alert has been issued in Mumbai. According to security agency sources, security is being increased at key locations in Mumbai. Further security measures are being implemented. Security has also been tightened at key locations across the country.

 Following the blast, Mumbai has been put on high alert. Immediately after the blast, Mumbai was placed on high alert. Security agencies have issued strict security measures and strict surveillance. Furthermore, the country's security agencies have also launched an investigation. 

Car bomb explodes at Delhi's Red Fort

It should be noted that a car exploded near Delhi's Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening at around 6:55 pm. The powerful blast caused panic in the area. Immediately after the explosion, panic spread throughout the area. 

Eight people have been reported dead in the blast so far. Those injured were immediately admitted to LNJP Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, 14 people have been reported injured. Fire brigade vehicles and department officials arrived at the scene immediately after the blast. 

Following the blast, forensic teams have been conducting a thorough investigation around the Red Fort. According to reports, glass in shops in the surrounding area has also been shattered by the blast. 

High alert issued in these states

Security agencies have been alerted following the blast in the national capital. Following the Delhi blast, a high alert has been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Mumbai. Police have been alerted following this incident. 

Currently, officials and police are maintaining constant vigilance in the country's financial capital to prevent any untoward incidents. Patrolling has been increased in sensitive areas of Mumbai. Police blockades have been established at all locations. Heavy security forces have also been deployed around major city landmarks, including railway stations, malls, bus stops, and religious sites.
