MP: Vijay Shah clarified his controversial comment on Colonel Sofia, Congress said- he should be sacked from the post of minister

News Topical, Digital Desk : BJP Minister Vijay Shah On Colonel Sofiya Qureshi: Congress spokesperson Abbas Hafeez has demanded the resignation of Madhya Pradesh government minister Vijay Shah for making controversial comments on Colonel Sofiya Qureshi who gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. Vijay Shah has clarified his statement. He said that my statement was misinterpreted.

Clarifying his statement, Vijay Shah said, "Our Prime Minister has replied to those who destroyed the vermilion of our sisters in their own language. Do not look at my speech in a different context. If you are looking at it in a different context, then I want to say that my words are not in that context. Our sisters have taken revenge with great strength along with the army."

'BJP should sack Vijay Shah'
On the other hand, Congress spokesperson Abbas Hafeez has demanded the sacking of Vijay Shah from the post of minister. He said, "The statement made by Vijay Shah in the context of Colonel Sofia Qureshi is extremely objectionable, it is the height of indecency and communalism. Today, the Bharatiya Janata Party should come forward and sack Vijay Shah from the post of minister." 

'Earlier he had commented on the family of the former CM'
He further said, "Vijay Shah had earlier commented on the family of the former Chief Minister, on which the party had taken his resignation. Today we have to see whether the family of a former Chief Minister was more important for the Bharatiya Janata Party or army officers and soldiers like Sophia Qureshi are more important. We will wait to see what decision the Bharatiya Janata Party takes on such a statement. We demand the dismissal of Minister Vijay Shah from his post.

What did Vijay Shah say?
Let us tell you that Minister Vijay Shah had given a controversial statement on Colonel Sofia Qureshi and said, "We sent the sisters of those people who had destroyed the vermilion of our sisters to them and got them beaten up. They killed our Hindus by removing their clothes and PM Modi got them beaten up through their sister. PM Modi could not remove their clothes, so he sent the sister of his community and said that if you have made our sisters widows, then the sister of your community will come and leave you naked."
