Alert after cloudburst in Himachal
Many districts of Himachal Pradesh received heavy rainfall on Saturday evening. An incident of cloudburst was also reported in Rampur of the capital Shimla, which has caused a lot of damage. A cloudburst occurred in Jagatkhana near Rampur, in which many vehicles are feared to have been swept away. The administration has alerted the people living on the river bank. Also, an appeal has been made to be cautious. At the same time, the local meteorological center has issued a 'yellow' alert of thunderstorms with strong winds at the speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour and lightning in all 12 districts on 27 and 28 May. The Meteorological Department said that an alert has been issued for Sirmaur, Solan, Shimla, Mandi, Kullu, Kangra and Chamba districts on 25 and 26 May.
Red alert in many districts of Kerala
Meanwhile, monsoon has arrived in Kerala ahead of schedule on Saturday. Due to monsoon, heavy rains along with strong winds were recorded in many districts of Kerala. Due to this, many houses and crops have suffered a lot of damage here. At the same time, power supply was also disrupted in many areas and waterlogging was seen on the roads. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected to continue throughout Kerala with the arrival of monsoon. Red and orange alerts have been issued in many districts of the state for the next few days. Red alert has been issued in Kannur and Kasaragod districts of Kerala and orange alert in the remaining 12 districts of the state. Apart from this, red alert has been issued in five districts and orange alert in nine districts for Sunday. On Monday, red alert was issued in 11 districts of Kerala and orange alert in the remaining three.
The series of rains will continue in Uttar Pradesh
At the same time, an alert has been issued regarding rain in many districts of UP. On Sunday, rain is expected at some places in both eastern and western UP. During this time, there is also a possibility of thunder and lightning. Along with this, the wind can also blow at a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour. Similarly, rain is expected in different districts of the state from 27 to 30 May. At present, the Meteorological Department has said that the series of rains will continue in the districts of the state.
Temperature of Delhi-NCR dropped
Talking about Delhi-NCR, people have got relief from the heat due to the intermittent rain here for the last several days. Meanwhile, heavy rain was recorded in the entire Delhi-NCR last night as well. During the late night rain, thunderstorms and strong winds also blew. Due to heavy rains, there has been waterlogging in many places in Delhi-NCR, due to which people had to face a lot of problems. Due to rain, the temperature of Delhi-NCR has dropped. However, earlier IMD had issued a red alert for Delhi and surrounding areas, warning of strong thunderstorms, rain and strong winds.
Alert regarding heat in Rajasthan
However, severe heat wave is still continuing in many parts of Rajasthan. On Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded above 45 degrees Celsius at many places. The highest temperature of 47.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Barmer. The Meteorological Department has issued a 'red alert' for further rise in temperature in many parts of the state. In Ajmer, Jaipur, Kota divisions, the maximum temperature is forecast to be 45 to 47 degrees Celsius and heat wave is forecast for the next 2-3 days. However, due to the activation of eastern winds, thundershowers are expected in some parts of the state in the evening and winds are expected to blow at a speed of 50-60 kilometers per hour in the next 4-5 days.
