News Topical, Digital Desk : Rajasthan Mock Drill Postponed:  The mock drill of civil defence scheduled for Thursday in Rajasthan has been postponed. The new date will be announced later after taking permission from the central government. The mock drill was to be conducted on Thursday by blacking out all 41 districts in Rajasthan. The Home Department issued an order to postpone the mock drill.

Mock drill and black out were to be conducted in 41 districts

Earlier, the state's Civil Defence Department had issued guidelines to all the District Collectors and Magistrates regarding black out and mock drill. According to the guidelines issued by the Director of Directorate, Civil Defence Rajasthan, Jagjit Singh Monga, mock drill and black out were to be conducted in all the 41 districts of the state on Thursday evening. Which has been postponed.

Regarding the mock drill, Jagjit Singh Monga had said that as per the letter issued by the Home Ministry, Government of India, it has been decided to organize civil defense exercises on 29 May in all the districts of the states and union territories bordering the western border. In this sequence, the second civil defense exercise (Operation Shield) will be organized in 41 districts of all 7 divisions of the state.
