News Topical, Digital Desk : Ratnakar Mishra, a BJP MLA from Mirzapur district in Uttar Pradesh, had come to inspect the works of the Jal Jeevan Mission. Seeing the shortcomings, he lost his temper and abused the employees in front of the Namami Gange ADM, a video of which is also viral on social media.

Ratnakar Mishra said, "You're making excuses without even a word. The village head and the public are complaining that water isn't coming anywhere. If you talk too much, we'll shut you down and beat you with sticks." Seeing the MLA's anger, officials promised to fix everything by the 22nd.

The MLA had gone to see the work of Namami Gange scheme.

According to reports, on Tuesday, BJP MLA Ratnakar Mishra visited Gobarha village in the Kon block of Mirzapur district to conduct a field inspection of the tap water scheme under the Namami Gange project. During the inspection, the village head and members of the public complained to the MLA that water was not coming from the taps. Angered by this, they asked Jal Jeevan Mission employees to inform them about which villages were receiving water. Jal Jeevan Mission employees responded that the pipes were damaged, causing this. MLA Ratnakar Mishra became very angry and declared that no village in the area was receiving water. He warned that the situation should be fixed, or else action would be taken.

Been angry before

It's worth noting that BJP MLA Ratnakar Mishra never misses an opportunity to reprimand officials for anger or incomplete work. Just a few days ago, he reprimanded PWD officials for the collapse of a pontoon bridge. The opposition also targeted the BJP government over this, alleging rampant corruption within the government.
