Nothing much is going to happen to Pakistan, they don't have anything. That country runs on foreign loans. But our country is very big. If it remains embroiled in wars like this, attacks happen every now and then, God forbid, an accident happens, then the situation of our country, poverty in our country will increase more."
What did she say on Amarnath Yatra?
When asked for his reaction on the completion of 11 years of the Modi government at the Centre, he said, "Only the BJP people can give a better answer to this. What should I say." On the Amarnath Yatra, he said, "We told our workers that the real protectors are the people of Kashmir. The people of Pahalgam have to protect the Amarnath pilgrims. They have to be looked after so that they come safely and go back to their homes safely."
This demand was made from the government
On the question of tourism, he said, "The hoteliers have taken loans. The taxi drivers have taken loans. The poor horse owners are in trouble. If the journey goes well, then Insha Allah tourism will increase again. But along with this, I request the government that those who have taken loans should be given relief for at least one year. The installments should be reduced and some time should be given."
Expressed grief over Air India plane crash
Mehbooba Mufti also expressed grief over the Air India plane crash. She said, "It is very sad. We hope that the government will investigate it properly. Why did this happen and responsibility should be fixed."
