News Topical, Digital Desk : In Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, Haiwatpur village, under the Panwadi police station area, was shocked on Tuesday when the charred body of farmer Harnarayan, missing since Monday night, was found in a drain behind his house. Upon receiving the news, family members were devastated. Police arrived at the scene, sent the body for post-mortem, and began an investigation. The family alleges murder due to a personal grudge.
It is reported that one lakh rupees and his mobile phone are missing from the deceased. According to ASP Vandana Singh, three teams have been formed to investigate the case. The police claim to arrest the accused soon through the post-mortem report and surveillance.
One lakh was received by selling buffalo and goat
The deceased's brother, Janaki Prasad, stated that Harnarayan had recently sold his buffalo and goats, earning one lakh rupees. Neither the money nor Harnarayan's mobile phone has been recovered since the incident. Burn marks on his body indicate a brutal attempt to erase his identity. The family suspects a man from the neighborhood due to an old rivalry.
Police started investigation
Given the seriousness of the incident, the police department is on high alert. ASP Vandana Singh, who arrived at the scene, stated that the field unit and senior officers have thoroughly inspected the scene. Three special teams, led by Circle Officer Kulpahar, have been formed to investigate the matter and apprehend the culprits. Additionally, the police surveillance team is also investigating technical evidence. Police say the exact cause of death and the injury marks found on the body will be determined only after the post-mortem report is received.
Currently, the police are investigating all aspects of the case. Harnarayan was the sole support of his family, and his death has taken away the lives of his wife and five innocent children. Now it remains to be seen how quickly the police teams can solve this blind murder mystery.
