News Topical, Digital Desk : The anger of the farmers erupted at the cooperative fertilizer sales center of Mahoba district. Angry with the continuous delay in fertilizer distribution and the arbitrary behavior of the employees, the farmers first tried to break the lock of the center, after which they chased and beat up the employee present on the spot.

Not only this, the farmers also got into a scuffle with the policemen who had come to control the situation. The video of this incident is also viral on social media. The police barely managed to calm the situation and distributed the fertilizers by making the farmers stand in a queue in the presence of officials.

A look at the whole matter

Let us tell you that the matter is of PCF fertilizer sales center Jaitpur of Kulpahar tehsil. Where a large number of farmers had reached the center to get fertilizer since morning. The farmers lost their patience when they did not get the fertilizer even after waiting for several hours. When the shutter of the sales center was closed, the crowd got angry and chased and beat up the employee Ramswaroop present there.

 The situation deteriorated in no time and there was chaos in the centre premises. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and pacified the situation by counselling. Later, in the presence of the SDM, the farmers were made to stand in a line and the fertiliser was distributed. 

The center in-charge gave this information

PCF Jaitpur Center Incharge Dinesh Kumar said that fertilizer is to be distributed to farmers of 56 villages from the center, due to which the crowd increases. He said that farmers should have patience, but despite this the employee was beaten up. The employee has also given a complaint in the police station in this matter.

On the other hand, farmers allege that fertilizers are not being made available on time and the employees are deliberately acting arbitrarily. Farmer Avadhesh said that five bags of fertilizer are needed for 10 bigha land, but fertilizers are not being provided for two days.

What do the farmers say?

Farmer Ravindra Kumar said that he has been standing in the queue since 6 am but still did not get fertilizer. Similarly, Harvansh and Suresh Mishra also complained and said that after standing in the queue for hours, the shutter of the shop was suddenly closed and the employees did not give any satisfactory answer.

Farmers say that not getting fertilizers on time during the season is having a bad effect on the crop, but the officers and employees are not serious. This whole matter has raised questions on the functioning of cooperative fertilizer sales centers. The administration is now talking about investigation.
