Given the seriousness of the allegations, the state leadership dispatched BJP state vice-president Kamlavati Singh and regional general secretary Sant Vilas Shivhare to Mahoba to investigate. After two days of extensive questioning and meetings, the committee succeeded in brokering a reconciliation between the two parties. However, after the first day's agreement, Deepali Tiwari again took a U-turn and threatened police action. However, after a second round of talks today, she officially declared the dispute over.

In response to questions about her repeated changes to her statement, Deepali Tiwari said that she was mentally distressed, which is why she said different things. She clarified that she was under no pressure. The differences between them have now been resolved. She was troubled by the confusion spread by some people. Meanwhile, District President Mohanlal Kushwaha also took a softer stance, saying that many people had misled him and his sister, Deepali Tiwari, leading to disagreements. He said he regretted whatever was said during the dispute and that Deepali was like his younger sister. However, he declined to name any external or internal elements who had fueled the fire.
