News Topical, Digital Desk : The incident of vandalism and indecency against female officials at King George's Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, last Friday has escalated. Anger is growing over the incident. The KGMU management has demanded action against the suspected individuals accompanying Aparna Yadav, Vice President of the Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission, for vandalism at the university.
In protest of this incident, a joint committee of teachers, staff, and students has announced a strike on January 13th if the police do not file an FIR. OPD services, except for emergency services, will be closed during this period. The KGMU joint committee has also issued a letter in this regard. The unruly mob, led by Women's Commission Vice President Aparna Yadav, has increased the government's difficulties. Currently, senior officials are working to avert the strike.
STF to investigate conversion, sexual exploitation and sabotage
Meanwhile, another major update has emerged regarding the King George's Medical University (KGMU) religious conversion, sexual abuse, and vandalism case. The UP Special Task Force (STF) has been entrusted with the investigation of the entire incident, including sexual abuse, religious conversion, and the violence that occurred at KGMU under the leadership of Aparna Yadav, Vice President of the Women's Commission. The STF will now investigate this case.
The fact-finding committee formed by the KGMU administration has requested a Special Task Force (STF) investigation. The chairperson of the fact-finding committee stated over the phone that the investigation would be handed over to the Special Task Force (STF). Former Director General Bhavesh Kumar, a member of the fact-finding committee, has been providing updates to the STF on the entire matter for several days.
KGMU Vice Chancellor will meet Chief Minister Yogi
Amidst all these matters, King George's Medical University (KGMU) Vice Chancellor Dr. Sonia Nityanand will meet with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today . This meeting is considered extremely important because Vice Chancellor Dr. Nityanand will brief the Chief Minister on the investigation conducted by the KGMU administration into the entire incident.
