News Topical, Digital Desk : Lucknow University began the online admission process for undergraduate courses for the 2026-27 academic year on Friday. Candidates can apply through the university website https://lkounivadm.samarth.edu.in/ until May 31. Admission requires the mandatory registration of their Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN).
The fee for this is ₹100. This year, admissions will be available for 6,500 seats across 17 courses. The university administration has released detailed information regarding this.
Spokesperson Professor Mukul Srivastava stated that if the payment is deducted from your account during the online application process and the application is unsuccessful, do not make another payment for 48 hours. Admissions will be made through an entrance exam, the schedule for which will be released later. The Lucknow University administration states that LURN registration is also mandatory for college admissions.

- Create your login ID by clicking on New Registration on the right side of the registration page.
- For this, it is mandatory to create a valid email ID in advance, because the OTP will be sent on the same.
- After creating the login ID, complete your profile by entering your complete details (name, father-mother's name etc.).
- After creating the profile, complete the process by paying Rs 100, after which LURN registration will be done.
- Graduate: General, OBC, EW Category: Rs 1200
- For SC, ST, PWBD: Rs 600
- Graduate Professional: Rs 1500
- For SC, ST, PWBD: Rs 750
- D.Pharma: General, OBC, EW Category: Rs 1500
- For SC-ST, PWBD: Rs 750
