A woman from Andhra Pradesh has accused a young man from Muzaffarnagar of marrying another woman after their marriage and then abandoning her. The victim reached the city police station and filed a complaint against her husband and pleaded for justice. The police, after listening to the woman's complaint, have assured action.
According to information received from police officials in this regard, Mohammad Arju, a resident of Mohalla Laddhawala in the city police station area, met Sheikh Syedani, a resident of Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, in Kuwait. They fell in love and got married in Kuwait itself.
Andhra Pradesh left after giving assurance
Police officials said that after the wedding, they returned to India, but Arju left his wife in Andhra Pradesh, promising to take her to Muzaffarnagar soon. Time passed, but he never returned. Some time later, Sheikh Syedani saw information about her husband's second marriage on his mobile status, which devastated her. After a long wait, the victim arrived in Muzaffarnagar with her one-year-old daughter and filed a police complaint.
Police assured the woman of fair action
At the city police station, the victim's tears and the one-year-old girl in her lap were telling the story of the deception she suffered. She wept and pleaded with the police for justice.
