News Topical, Digital Desk : On Saturday morning, lawyers vandalized the SDM office in protest of the indecency meted out to advocate Satish Mishra. They then went to the Superintendent of Police's office and created a ruckus. The situation remained tense for quite some time.

They raised slogans of "Down with CO Nagar" and demanded his suspension. The lawyers questioned why the officials were rude to Advocate Satish Kumar Mishra when Congress members were staging a sit-in at the district headquarters and presented their views. This arbitrary behavior by the officials is wrong. They will have to face the consequences.

A large number of lawyers arrived at the SDM Sadar courthouse at 12 noon and vandalized the premises. From there, they demonstrated and proceeded to the Superintendent of Police's office, where they are currently in talks with officials. They demanded the suspension or transfer of the City Commissioner on Monday. They warned of returning to the office and staging a sit-in protest if no action is taken.
