Mahadev gave a boon

For your information, let us tell you that Lord Kuber has been described in Skanda Purana. According to religious belief, Lord Kuber was born in a Brahmin family. Kuber ji had a flaw that he used to steal. When his father came to know about this, he threw Kuber ji out of the house, after which he reached a Shiva temple, where he saw a priest sleeping. During this time, he decided to steal the prasad from the temple.

For this, Kuber ji spread his towel in front of the lamp to escape from the priest, but even after this Kuber ji was caught stealing. During this, there was a scuffle and Kuber ji died. After this, when Yamdoot was taking him away, messengers of Lord Shiva were also coming from the other side. The messengers presented Kuber ji in front of Mahadev. Shiva ji felt that he had saved the lamp from getting extinguished by spreading the towel. Mahadev was pleased and gave the title of Kuber. Since then Kuber ji is called the God of Wealth.

This is how you can get the blessings of Lord Kubera

In Vastu Shastra, the auspicious direction for placing the idol of Lord Kuber has been mentioned. It is believed that the idol of Lord Kuber should be installed in the north direction. By doing this remedy, one gets the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber.
