Bathing and donating on this day is considered highly auspicious, bringing happiness and prosperity to the devotee. It is believed that worshipping Goddess Lakshmi on the full moon day can relieve one of financial problems. Therefore, you can take these steps on this day to receive the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.

Worship Goddess Lakshmi in this way (Purnima fast puja method)

On Kartik Purnima, wake up before sunrise and bathe in a holy river. If this isn't possible, bathe at home by mixing Ganga water with plain water. Afterward, offer water to the Sun God and chant the mantra "Om Ghrinih Suryaya Namah  ." Clean the place of worship, sprinkle Ganga water on it, and spread a clean red cloth on the platform.

After this, install an idol or picture of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Offer incense, lamps, and offerings. Also, having the Satyanarayan Katha recited on the full moon day is considered very auspicious.

You will get the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi

On the full moon day, offer red flowers to Goddess Lakshmi during her worship. You should also recite the Kanakadhara Stotra on this day. This pleases Goddess Lakshmi and she blesses the devotee with happiness and prosperity. Furthermore, on the full moon day, apply ground turmeric to 11 cowries and offer them to Goddess Lakshmi. Light a ghee lamp and recite the Lakshmi Chalisa. After this, keep these cowries in a place where you keep money or in your safe. Doing so can solve your financial problems.

2. Om Shri Mahalakshmyai Cha Vidmahe Vishnu Patnyai Cha Dhimahi Tanno Lakshmi Prachodayat Om.

3. Sri Lakshmi Beej Mantra –

Om Shree Hreem Shreem Kamle Kamlalaye Prasidh Shreem Hreem Shreem Om Mahalakshmayai Namah.

4. Lakshmi Prayer Mantra -

Namaste Sarvagevanam Varadasi Hare: Priya.
Ya gatistvprapannanam ya sa me bhuyatvadarchanat.

5. Shri Lakshmi Mahamantra –

Om Shree Lucky Mahalakshmi Mahalakshmi, this is where all the good fortunes are showered on the body.
