News Topical, Digital Desk : The police team that went to Meerut in search of Dr. Afzal and Atim, a gang accused of buying and selling kidneys, found their exact location, but shortly before their arrival, the main accused got wind of their situation and fled.

Since then, their location has been traced to another district near Meerut. The team is conducting raids at possible locations. Meanwhile, the police team found two mobile numbers belonging to Dr. Rohit, a member of the gang, but both are switched off.

The police are now obtaining CDRs of those numbers. At the same time, preparations are being made to obtain police custody remand for the accused, including the doctor couple who have been sent to jail.

The racket involved in buying and selling of kidneys and illegal transplantation had struck a deal with Ayush, a resident of Begusarai, Bihar, for a kidney for Rs 9 lakh. However, when he agreed to sell his kidney and came to Kanpur, he was asked to reduce the price further to Rs 6 lakh.

Ayush agreed to this as he needed money, but when his kidney was removed, only 3.50 lakh rupees were transferred to his bank account. Afzal, however, had given 15 lakh rupees to Parul's husband and broker Shivam Agarwal to give to Ayush. It is being reported that the kidney transplant deal was struck by Dr. Afzal and Dr. Rohit's racket, along with Shivam, with Parul's husband for 60 lakh rupees.

However, DCP West SM Qasim Abidi stated that the accused had negotiated a kidney transplant deal with Muzaffarnagar resident Parul's husband, school operator Vikas Tomar. The husband is being summoned for the transaction, but he is not coming. In this case, the police have filed a case against 10 named individuals and four or five unidentified individuals at Rawatpur police station under sections of human organ transplantation and human trafficking.

Of these, the accused Surjeet Singh Ahuja, Dr. Preeti, broker Shivam Agarwal, Ram Prakash, Rajesh and Narendra Singh have been sent to jail by the police, while teams went to Lucknow, Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Meerut and Dehradun in search of Rohit of Lucknow, Dr. Afzal of Meerut, Dr. Amit alias Anurag and Dr. Vaibhav.

During this time, the police learned of Dr. Afzal and his associates' location in Meerut. They reached there, but the accused had already left some time ago.

Since then, the location has been changing. Police are conducting raids at possible locations based on the location. Police have also learned about another doctor in Ghaziabad. The team is searching for him as well.

...is the husband of the woman who received the kidney not coming due to fear of arrest?

Parul's husband, Vikas Tomar, had struck a deal with the gang to purchase and transplant a kidney. However, after the transplant, Vikas did not visit her at Ahuja Hospital, Priya Hospital and Trauma Center, or Medical College. However, Parul's brother had visited the hospital after the kidney scandal was exposed.
