A video from the promotion of Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam , is rapidly going viral on the internet. This video features the entire star cast of the film, including Kamal Haasan and South actress Trisha Krishnan. During the promotion of the film, when the anchor asked Trisha about her favorite dish, the actress replied, "Although I like to eat everything, but I like eating boiled bananas more." The dish Trisha is talking about is called Paazham Pohri, which is made from bananas. 

Kamal Haasan interrupted Trisha and said, "She doesn't know its name, but she keeps it in her mouth". Trisha laughed after hearing this from the actor. This video of her went viral like fire, after which social media users were divided into two groups. 

Users on social media called Kamal Haasan 'toxic' 

As soon as this video went viral, users on social media were divided into two groups. Some found it to be a double meaning video, while many users were defending their favourite superstar. One user wrote, "Toxic Kamal", I wonder if Trisha will complain like she did against Mansoor Ali Khan"

Another user wrote, "Just imagine if Chiranjeevi had said this." Another user wrote, "Why do you people always say double meaning things." 

At the same time, there are some users who have come out in support of the actor. One user wrote, "This is a funny dialogue, which even the parents of Tamil people say in their homes, there is nothing wrong in it". Another user wrote, "I am from Tamil and am not a fan of Kamal Haasan at all, but I don't think he has said anything wrong".
