News Topical, Digital Desk : Amarnath Yatra 2025: 25 pilgrims were injured when four buses of Shri Amarnath ji's convoy going to Pahalgam collided with each other near Chandrakot Langar site in Ramban district in Jammu on Saturday.

The accident occurred when the driver of a bus in the Amarnath Yatra convoy lost control due to brake failure, causing three other buses in the convoy to collide with each other.

25 pilgrims were injured in the accident. All the injured pilgrims were taken to District Hospital Ramban for treatment. Rescue teams of police and health department immediately reached the spot.

Senior administrative officials of Ramban district visited the hospital and enquired about the condition of the injured pilgrims. According to officials, four vehicles collided due to brake failure, at least 25 passengers were injured. Most of the injuries are minor and all the injured passengers were discharged after first aid. Officials said that alternative transport has been arranged for the pilgrims.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban said that the last vehicle of the Pahalgam convoy lost control and collided with vehicles stranded at Chanderkote Langar site, damaging 4 vehicles and injuring 36 passengers slightly. The injured were immediately shifted to DH Ramban.
