News Topical, Digital Desk : Almost all the exit polls that came after the second and final phase of voting in the Bihar Assembly elections have expressed the possibility that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) can once again form the government with a big majority.
If the actual results are similar to the figures of these post-poll surveys, then once again power will prove to be a distant dream for the grand alliance of Rashtriya Janata Dal, Congress, Left parties and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP).
What did Yashwant Sinha say?
Meanwhile, former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha has criticized the exit polls. Sinha, who was the opposition alliance's candidate for the 2022 Vice Presidential election, wrote, "The exit polls for the Bihar Assembly elections are all wrong. According to my survey, the NDA is winning at least 200 seats, and the Grand Alliance is completely wiped out."
The former Union Minister wrote that if my prediction on November 14 proves to be horribly wrong, I am not responsible.
Let us tell you that the NDA led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar includes Janata Dal (U), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustan Awami Morcha (HAM) and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM).
After the completion of voting in Bihar, exit polls of almost all the survey agencies have predicted a big victory for NDA.
According to the Matrix survey, the NDA could secure a two-thirds majority with 147 to 167 seats. Its exit poll predicted that the Grand Alliance could win 70 to 90 seats, and Jan Suraj could win only zero to two seats.
The survey of 'Dainik Bhaskar' says that NDA can get 145 to 160 seats, whereas the Grand Alliance is expected to get only 73 to 91 seats.
How many seats will Jansuraj get?
The People's Pulse exit poll also predicts a resounding victory for the NDA. According to this survey, the NDA could win 133 to 159 seats, while the Grand Alliance could settle for 75 to 101 seats.
This survey has expressed the possibility of Jansuraj getting zero to five seats.
The Chanakya Strategies exit poll predicts that the NDA could form a full majority government with 130 to 138 seats, while the Grand Alliance could be reduced to 100 to 108 seats, leaving it in opposition. It also predicts that others will win three to five seats.
What did Pol Strait say?
The Poll Strat survey predicts the NDA will win 133 to 148 seats, while the Grand Alliance is projected to win 87 to 102 seats. It says others could win three to five seats.
Poll Diary's exit poll predicts a landslide victory for the NDA, suggesting the ruling alliance could perform like it did in the 2010 assembly elections, securing 184 to 209 seats.
This survey says that the opposition grand alliance may have to be satisfied with only 32 to 49 seats.
