There was celebration in Jammu and Kashmir for this victory. Apart from this, fans raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.

After winning the toss and batting first, the Indian bowlers worked their magic against the Pakistan cricket team. The Pakistani team crumbled like a pack of cards in front of the lethal bowling of Team India. The fear of the Indian spinners was visible on the Pakistani batsmen.

Pakistan scored 127 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs

Pakistan could score 127 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs against the trio of Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy and Akshar Patel. Kuldeep Yadav was the best bowler from India's side. He took 3 wickets for just 18 runs in 4 overs. Akshar Patel took 2 wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs.

Apart from this, Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets for 28 runs in 4 overs while Varun Chakraborty took 1 wicket for 24 runs in 4 overs. Along with this, Hardik Pandya gave 34 runs in 4 overs and got only 1 wicket.

Opposition protested against the match

Let us tell you that the opposition parties had strongly opposed this match between India and Pakistan. These parties raised slogans and urged people to boycott the match.

Protests were led by Shiv Sena (Uttar Pradesh) in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, while Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers protested in Delhi. In South India, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticised the central government, asking if the money earned from the match was more important than the lives of those killed in Pahalgam .
