Dispute erupts on a private bus

According to reports, the incident began when Satpal Valmiki was traveling on a private bus. It is alleged that he tried to ask a woman on the bus for her mobile number.

The woman protested and, feeling uncomfortable, immediately called her village to inform her family and villagers. She said that asking for her number without reason was wrong.

Villagers gathered at the bus stand

As soon as the bus arrived at the Panipat bus stand, the woman's family and several villagers were already present. As soon as Satpal Valmiki got off the bus, the villagers surrounded him.

The crowd's anger was palpable. They booed him and called his actions shameful. Several people present at the scene took video of the entire incident.

Finding himself cornered, Satpal Valmiki decided it was best to apologize. He repeatedly bowed before the woman, knelt down, and pleaded for forgiveness. Reportedly, he grabbed her feet more than 10 times, calling her "sister," and pleading for her to let him go. He was seen swearing on God, his children, and himself. The woman also questioned why he had asked for her number.

Satpal Valmiki later clarified that the woman's bank account had been hacked, which is why he had asked for her number. However, his argument did not sit well with those present. For a long time, chaos and tension prevailed at the bus stand.

The matter ended without complaint.

There has been no confirmation yet that the woman filed a written complaint with any police station regarding this entire matter. As soon as the crowd's attention was momentarily distracted, Satpal Valmiki quietly left the scene. Villagers tried to apprehend him, but he was gone by then.

It is being reported that Satpal Valmiki was a contender for the Congress ticket from the Israna constituency and has been associated with the Congress. After the video went viral, the matter became a topic of discussion not only in Panipat but throughout the state.
