News Topical, Digital Desk : A soldier on leave, along with two friends, strangled a middle-aged man from the Scheduled Caste to death. They threw the body into the Ganges Canal. Police recovered the body at the direction of the accused soldier. A search is underway for the two accused.
Three people, including a soldier, murdered a middle-aged man and threw his body into the Ganga canal.
Suresh Kumar, 50, a Scheduled Caste resident of Putthi Ibrahimpur village in the Ramraj police station area, had been missing since the evening of April 16th. His family had been searching for him and had even informed the police. Police investigated and viewed CCTV footage. Based on this footage, Vikul Gurjar, a resident of Saifpur Firozpur village in Meerut, was arrested.
