News Topical, Digital Desk : Jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was examined by a team of doctors on Sunday after he complained of eye problems, but his party rejected the findings.

On the Supreme Court's direction, a lawyer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) met Khan on Thursday to get first-hand information about his health conditions.

85 percent complain of vision loss

According to reports, Khan had complained of losing approximately 85 percent of the vision in his right eye. The court ordered authorities to conduct a detailed medical examination of the 73-year-old former cricketer-turned-politician before February 16.

A team of doctors met Khan and conducted a detailed eye examination, sources said . They said the medical examination lasted for an hour and the team left after collecting blood samples.

The operation was done last month

Last month, Khan was taken to PIMS Islamabad and underwent eye surgery. During a meeting with his lawyer, he complained of vision loss. Following this, his family and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf demanded he be treated at a private hospital.
