News Topical, Digital Desk : US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that he ended conflicts between seven countries in the world. Furthermore, he reiterated that he also ended the India-Pakistan conflict. However, India has already made it clear that there is no room for any third-party mediation in this matter.

When asked about tariffs, he said, "If I didn't have the authority to impose tariffs, at least four of the seven wars would still be ongoing." He claimed that these tariffs were the reason for the ceasefire agreement between the two nuclear-armed neighbors during the armed conflict earlier this year.

Tariffs made America a peacemaker

According to an NDTV report, the US President said that because of the tariffs we have imposed, America has now become a peacemaker. Furthermore, the tariffs are earning the US hundreds of billions of dollars.

Trump has been taking credit for the Indo-Pak ceasefire.

It's worth noting that this isn't the first time a US president has made such a claim. Trump has made this claim on numerous occasions before. Since May 10, 2025, when Trump announced on social media that India and Pakistan had agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire after an overnight negotiation brokered by Washington, he has repeatedly reiterated his claim that he helped resolve tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad.
