News Topical, Digital Desk : A CRPF soldier was injured in an IED blast planted by Maoists in the Phoolbagri police station area on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred in the forested and hilly area of ​​Gogunda when soldiers from the 74th Battalion were on area domination duty.

According to police, the soldier suffered serious leg injuries in the blast that occurred around 1:45 p.m. Fellow soldiers immediately rescued him from the scene and provided first aid. He was then airlifted by helicopter to Raipur for better treatment.

Intensive search operation launched

Following the incident, security forces launched a massive search operation in the surrounding area. Police suspect Maoists planted the explosives with the intention of targeting the patrol team.

The Phoolbagri police station has registered a case and initiated further action against the Maoists. Police officials stated that detailed information will be released after the investigation.
