News Topical, Digital Desk : Sunil Shetty recently became emotional at the audio launch of his son Ahan Shetty's upcoming film "Border 2." Ahan made his debut in Milan Luthria's 2021 film Tadap, which was a flop. Sunil Shetty revealed that Ahan had to struggle a lot afterward.
Sunil Shetty's eyes filled with tears
Speaking at the audio launch, Sunil was moved to tears, and producer Bhushan Kumar was seen consoling him as he talked about Ahaan. Describing his son's journey, Sunil said, “This is his second film, and getting such a big project... it's a huge responsibility. When Ahaan was filming, I told him, 'Ahaan, this isn't just a uniform. Remember that.' I told him that whatever you do, do it with all your heart. As a father, I will always be grateful to them for thinking of my son for such a big film.”
Ahan had to struggle after his first film.
Sunil further admitted that it wasn't easy for Ahan to move forward after taking a short break following his acting debut. Talking about that time, he said, “After his first film, there was a bit of a break (in his life and career). You know, there's always turmoil in our lives. Everyone says that since he's Sunil Shetty's son, he'll get a lot of work. But somewhere, Ahan has faced a lot in life. But I'm glad he got Border 2 as his second film. He couldn't have asked for a better film. And I just pray that he does justice to the film and that it's a success for all of us.”
Sunil wanted to work in Border 2
Meanwhile, Sunil himself has expressed his desire to work in "Border 2." Recalling his experience with the first film, he said, “This film wouldn't have been possible without Sunny Deol. In Border, when I received the script stating that my character would die, I was very happy. You know, I'll die for the country, that's how it's shown. But if my character had lived, I would have been able to work in Border 2 as well.”
