Akshay Kumar revealed in a recent interview that he is one of the highest-paid celebrities in the country. The actor, who is seen in the recently released movie Jolly LLB 3 , asked what the problem was with his money-mindedness.
Akshay Kumar's response to being called money-minded
In a TV show, Akshay Kumar, while responding to those who accused him of being money-minded, said, “If I have earned money, it is not by looting. I have earned it by working. For the last 8 years, I have been the highest tax payer. So it is not that I am money-minded or anything else. Money is very important in life. You have to be practical. I earn money, pay taxes and do a lot of service with that money. This is my religion.”
Akshay Kumar continued, "No matter what others say, I don't believe anything. If you get money by cutting ribbons, what's the problem? Are they willing to pay? As long as you're not stealing from anyone, as long as you're not robbing anyone, as long as you're working hard, there's no problem." He also said that a few years ago, he invested his own money to complete a film. At that time, the producer was facing a financial crisis.

Akshay Kumar is currently starring in the courtroom drama Jolly LLB 3. The film recently released in theaters and stars Arshad Warsi in the lead role alongside Akshay. The actor will next be seen in films like Bhoot Bangla, Haiwaan, and Hera Pheri 3.
