News Topical, Digital Desk : Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has attacked the BJP over the Bihar election results. In Bengaluru, he directly questioned the NDA's victory of 202 seats, calling the results "unbearable." He also stated that a victory in Bihar cannot be compared to a victory in Uttar Pradesh. He also made it clear that the Samajwadi Party is now fully prepared for a major contest in Uttar Pradesh.

In Bengaluru, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav gave his first candid reaction to the Bihar election results. He said that elections always teach us lessons, both through victory and defeat.

Akhilesh Yadav said, “Elections teach us both victory and defeat. The BJP has started saying they got more votes than women. How long will you keep giving 10,000 rupees? When will you give us a dignified life? They (NDA) won 202 seats. We cannot digest this. We have to surpass this standard. A victory in Bihar cannot match a victory in Uttar Pradesh. We are ready for Uttar Pradesh.”

'202 seats are unbearable'

Reacting sharply to the Bihar results, Akhilesh Yadav said that such a huge victory was beyond comprehension. He sarcastically said, "We won so many seats—202, a double century—it's hard to digest. I mean, I can't understand how this result came about. If 202 can come, then any party can win 70-80% of the seats. If this is the benchmark, then we have to cross this benchmark." Akhilesh also said that the Samajwadi Party has learned a lot from its defeat in Uttar Pradesh, and this experience will help them achieve big victories in the future.

'UP's victory is different, Bihar's is different'

Akhilesh Yadav recalled that the Samajwadi Party had risen from a very weak position in Uttar Pradesh. He said, "When you reach rock bottom, you get a chance to learn. We lost. We got five seats. But later we defeated the double engine. They lost seats they couldn't have imagined. Bihar's victory cannot match UP's victory."

Akhilesh Yadav also alleged rigging in the UP by-elections. He said, “In the by-elections held in UP, the BJP used the police to steal votes.”

He also criticized bulldozer politics, saying, "Bulldozers are not a good culture; the Supreme Court has also prohibited them. Bulldozers are used only by those who enjoy destruction and do not believe in the Constitution and democracy." The SP president also addressed coalition politics, saying that allies should not be abandoned in difficult times. He said, "Our principle is that we do not abandon our friends when they are weak."
