News Topical, Digital Desk : Amid concerns over the health of US President Donald Trump, his Vice President JD Vance has made a big statement. He said that if any terrible incident happens, he is fully prepared to take over as the President of America. However, Vance also stressed that 79-year-old Trump is in very good health and he will complete his four-year term with full strength.

JD Vance's statement comes after a large mark was seen on Trump's hand, which has raised questions about his health.

Vance spoke openly about his preparations and Trump's health in an interview with USA Today. He said that when he stepped into the Oval Office of the White House for the first time in January, he was overwhelmed by its "glorious history" and "grandeur".

How is Trump's health?

Recently, during Trump's meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, a large blue mark was seen on his hand. This incident fueled discussions about his age and health.

At 79, Trump is the oldest president in US history to have taken the oath of office in January, after Joe Biden took office in 2021 at the age of 78.

Vance dismissed these concerns, saying, “The President is in great health. His energy is tremendous. I have full confidence that he will serve out his term and do great things for the American people.”

Is Vance President Trump's successor?

Vance, 41, also said he was prepared for any "terrible incident." Vance described his 200 days of experience as "the best training" he could have, preparing him for the responsibilities of the presidency.

He added, "If, God forbid, something happens, I'm ready." Trump also earlier this month described Vance as a "potential successor" to his Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement.

However, Vance declined to discuss his 2028 election plans, saying his focus is now on his current responsibilities.
