News Topical, Digital Desk : Hindustan Unilever (HUL) Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Ritesh Tiwari may resign from his post. CNBC-TV18 has reported quoting sources that he may take up a global role. Just a day ago, HUL had informed about its CEO Rohit Java resigning and appointing Priya Nair as the new CEO in his place. Ritesh Tiwari is currently handling the responsibility of Executive Director- Finance and IT as well as CFO in the FMCG company.

The company told CNBC-TV18, "At Unilever, we constantly nurture talent and prepare leaders. Our career planning includes equipping our people with skills and experience."

Who is Ritesh Tiwari Ritesh Tiwari started his career as a management trainee at Unilever in 1999. He has held many important roles in the company. Before becoming the CFO of HUL, he was the CFO of Unilever International based in London and Vice President (Finance) of Global Performance Management. Earlier on July 10, HUL had informed that Priya Nair has been appointed CEO and Managing Director from August 1, 2025. She will be the first woman to reach this position in the 92-year history of HUL. Currently, she is in the role of President, Beauty & Wellbeing at Unilever. 

Share performance The company's stock closed at Rs 2,520 on Friday with a gain of 4.63 per cent. In the last one year, the company's stock has seen a rise of 3.41 percent.
