Machado was announced as the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for her outspoken opposition to Maduro. Machado secretly traveled to Norway to receive the award. This was dubbed "Operation Golden Dynamite."
How did Machado escape from Venezuela?
Machado, amid rough weather, sailed from Venezuelan waters to Norway using only a single boat. She disguised herself and, despite numerous difficulties, arrived in Norway before the awards ceremony began.
Machado had set a goal of reaching Norway by December 10, 2025. Under Operation Golden Dynamite, Machado arrived on the island of Curaçao, where a boat was already waiting for him.

The video also features a man named Brian, who helped Machado escape Venezuela. Brian says, "Today is December 9th. My colleagues are in Curaçao and have left by boat with Maria. However, this work also poses many challenges."
Brian continues, "I see a boat in the distance, maybe it's Maria's boat. Maria, is that you?" A voice comes from the front, “Yes, it's me, and I have a bag with me.”

After meeting Maria, Brian says, "It's nice to meet you. I'm with you." Maria says, "It's very wet and cold here. I'm Maria Corina Machado. I'm alive, safe, and incredibly grateful to Grey Bull."
It should be noted that on December 3, the US invaded Venezuela and arrested President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. Both have been taken to New York, where they are currently facing trial.
