The Meteorological Department had predicted the maximum temperature to be around 42 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature to be around 26 to 28 degrees for May 17. According to the IMD, strong surface winds will remain active during the day on May 19 and 20 as well. However, the weather is expected to be somewhat normal on May 21 and 22. The sky will remain partially cloudy these days and no warning has been issued. The temperature is likely to reach 38 degrees Celsius during this time as well, due to which there is little hope of getting relief from the heat.
