Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds up to 50 kmph are likely to occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on February 2 and 3. Light to moderate rain with winds up to 50 kmph is likely in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, eastern Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh on February 2.

Fog may occur in some districts of Uttar Pradesh, while rain may occur in others. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for rain, hail, and lightning in the state today. Dense fog will also prevail in some districts.

Weather condition of Madhya Pradesh

The weather in Madhya Pradesh is also changing. Heavy rain, along with thunderstorms and hail, is expected in many areas today. The districts in Madhya Pradesh where rain is expected include Rajgarh, Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkalan, Rewa, Maihar, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, and Mauganj.

Jammu and Kashmir weather

Due to the influence of a western disturbance, the weather in Jammu and Kashmir will remain unstable until February 10. Rain and snowfall may occur again in the high altitude areas on the night of February 2. On February 3, there will be light rain at many places and snowfall in the high altitude areas. The weather will remain clear from February 4 to 6. Light rain or snowfall may occur at some places on February 7.
