News Topical, Digital Desk : Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is not following the security protocol. The CRPF, which is responsible for his security, has expressed concern over this.

CRPF VVIP Security chief Sunil June has written a letter in this regard to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge as well as Rahul Gandhi and appealed to follow the security protocol in future.

'Rahul does not follow security protocols'

The CRPF has also mentioned Rahul Gandhi's six foreign visits in the last nine months, which were not reported to the security agency. In a letter written to Kharge and Rahul on June 10, June accused Rahul of not following security protocols and said that he was violating the rules and laws related to VVIP security.

'Rahul Gandhi went abroad without informing anyone'

In the letter, a complaint has been made about violating protocol and going on a foreign trip without informing. As per the rules, VIPs with Z Plus advance security liaison are required to inform their security agency 15 days before going on a foreign trip, but they have not done so.

According to CRPF, Rahul is among the selected VVIPs of very sensitive importance in the country. CRPF has mentioned six foreign visits of Rahul Gandhi in the last nine months, which were not informed to the security agency. These include Italy from 30 December 2024 to 9 January, Vietnam from 12 March to 17 March, Dubai from 17 to 23 April, Doha in Qatar from 11 to 18 June, London from 25 June to 6 July and Malaysia from 4 to 8 September.

Rahul has got Z plus security along with ASL

Rahul enjoys Z Plus security along with CRPF's Advance Security Liaison (ASL). Under this, 56 CRPF commandos are always deployed for his security. It has internal and external security circles.

Not only this, modern technology and equipment is used for security. Under Advance Security Liaison, security arrangements are made in advance for all the domestic and foreign tours of Rahul Gandhi.

To ensure that there is no lapse in security, a yellow book has been prepared which has clear guidelines for the security agency and the VVIP receiving security. The security of all VVIPs across the country is done according to the protocols mentioned in this yellow book.

This is an attempt to intimidate the opposition leader: Congress

Congress media cell chief Pawan Khera said the timing of the CRPF letter and its immediate public disclosure raises many questions. It has come at a time when Rahul Gandhi is leading a campaign against the vote theft committed by the BJP in collusion with the Election Commission. Is this a veiled attempt to intimidate the opposition leader? Is the government scared of the truth he is exposing?
