News Topical, Digital Desk : Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi's new allegations and comments about "Gen-G" have heated up the political atmosphere. Amid BJP attacks, Shiv Sena-UBT and NCP-Sharad Pawar leaders have attempted to defend Rahul Gandhi. NCP-Sharad Pawar Party MP Supriya Sule said that in a strong democracy, everyone has the right to speak. Sanjay Raut, responding to the Gen-G post, said that Rahul Gandhi is the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, a constitutional and important position. He has the courage that our Prime Minister lacks. Addressing hundreds of journalists simultaneously is a bravery Rahul Gandhi consistently displays.

Election Commission should answer – Supriya Sule

Speaking to the media, he said, "Rahul Gandhi presented data in a presentation. In my opinion, these allegations are not directed at the BJP or anyone else, but at the Election Commission. Why do political parties care about this?" He also said that the Election Commission is an independent body and should respond. The BJP or any other party does not need to respond to Rahul Gandhi's statement.

Where did Maoism come from in this – Sule

Following Rahul Gandhi's "Gen-G" comment, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis called him a "Maoist" thinker. Supriya Sule responded, "Where does Maoism come into this? Gen-G means new generation. In such a situation, the Chief Minister's statement is ridiculous."

Sanjay Raut said, "Those criticizing Rahul Gandhi should understand that he has repeatedly presented his views to the country through press conferences. For some time now, he has been speaking about the corrupt practices, rigging and vote-stealing methods of the Election Commission. On Thursday, he held his second press conference. He has given evidence of how the votes of a particular section were deleted."
