Meteorologist TB Singh said that temperatures will now steadily rise, and the heat will intensify.
According to the Meteorological Department, drizzle on Wednesday brought the maximum temperature to 25.5 degrees Celsius, 11.2 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 20.4 degrees Celsius. Humidity also remained high, making the weather feel cooler.
In contrast, as the weather cleared on Thursday, the maximum temperature rose to 33.0 degrees Celsius, a 7.5 degree increase from Wednesday. Humidity also decreased, resulting in a dry atmosphere.
Scientists say that starting Friday, winds could blow at speeds of 25 to 30 kilometers per hour, further intensifying the heat. Therefore, it's important to be cautious when leaving the house during the afternoon.
