News Topical, Digital Desk : The Gorakhnath Bridge-Domingarh station section on the North Eastern Railway's Gorakhpur-Lucknow route has become a new accident hotspot. Incidents of falling from trains have increased on this stretch. Some cases are coming to light, while others are being suppressed.

The special thing is that accidents are also happening in trains coming to Gorakhpur. In the cases that are coming to light, it is being said that passengers slipped and fell at the gate. However, the story is something else. Sources say that a gang is active on this railway section which snatches mobile phones by hitting them with sticks. They hit passengers standing at the gate or windows with sticks. When the stick hits their hands, the mobile phone falls down and they run away with it. Passengers get injured. In the name of investigation, a cover-up is done.

On April 12, a passenger from Kushinagar, traveling to Gorakhpur on the 07075 Hyderabad Special, met with an accident. The cause of his fall was unclear, but passengers said some young men tried to snatch his mobile phone, causing him to fall, resulting in a head injury.

Call it fear or something else? After receiving treatment, the injured passenger said that he was talking on his mobile phone at the gate. The phone slipped from his hand and he fell while trying to catch it. However, Railway Protection Force personnel provided him first aid and sent him home..

On February 1st, Priyanshu Kumar Gupta and his sister Priya Kumari, passengers traveling on the 15212 Jananayak Express on the Domingarh-Gorakhpur section, fell from the train. Priya Kumari, a resident of Hardhwa Phatak, Saket Nagar, lost both toes in the accident.

Security agencies initially tried to cover up the incident by calling it a normal accident, but when the matter came to light and pressure mounted, they became alert. An investigation revealed that a young man had hit the brother and sister with a stick while they were talking on a mobile phone.

Passengers were struck by batons, and their mobile phones were thrown off the train. The man who attacked was apprehended during the investigation. Such incidents raise questions about safety. This is despite the fact that this railway line is located in the middle of a city. The rail line is densely populated. Railway Protection Force personnel also claim to patrol the area 24 hours a day and raise awareness among the people nearby.
