She is accused of embezzling money from people on the basis of forged documents in land purchase and sale. She is absconding since she was wanted in a land fraud case. Lady gangster Putul Maurya, wife of Jitendra Maurya, resident of Semra No. 1/2 of Gulriha police station area of Gorakhpur and her gang are accused of fraud in the name of land. A case has been registered against her in Shahpur police station under Section 2 and 3 of Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act 1986 and Section 406, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 504, 506 of IPS. On the order of the court, a notice of action under 82 CrPC has been pasted at her house and public announcement has been made against her on the charge of absconding in gangster case.

If she does not surrender within two days, her property will be confiscated.
Investigation officer of Gorakhnath police station, Gorakhpur, Inspector Shashi Bhushan Rai, said that a notice for action under 82 CrPC against Putul Maurya, wife of Jitendra Maurya, has been pasted at her house located at Semra No. 1/2 in Gulriha police station area. He also made an announcement after pasting this notice. He pasted the attachment notice as per the court order and said that if Putul does not surrender to the police or court within two days, attachment action will be taken against her. In this action, all the movable and immovable properties of lady gangster Putul Maurya will be confiscated.
