News Topical, Digital Desk : Actress-politician Jaya Bachchan's comments on paparazzi and their clothing sparked a debate, with many criticizing the actress for her derogatory statement. Now, in a recent conversation, famous paparazzo Varinder Chawla reacted to Jaya Bachchan's comments and revealed that he personally did not like the actress's comments.
Comparison with other actors
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Chawla said, "His comments about my employees hurt us personally. We were all hurt. There are many ways to express your opinion, but this was not the right way." Describing how many actors have set boundaries with the media, she said, “Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, all of them invited the paparazzi for tea and politely requested us not to take pictures of their children. To date, we have honored that request and never taken pictures of their children.”
The paparazzi won't take their pictures.
Several photographers discussed the idea that if Jayaji doesn't want us to photograph her, maybe we should stop altogether. Not as a boycott, but simply by politely telling her that we won't photograph her anymore. Our boys have never misbehaved with her. They always call her respectfully, "Jayaji." God knows why she always looks so upset.
Jaya Bachchan should go through the back gate
Talking about the easiest option for celebrities to ignore paparazzi at events, the paparazzi shared, "Every event has two entrances: the red carpet and the back entrance. If you don't want to be photographed, quietly sneak in through the back gate. Your PR team and event organizers can easily help you. But if you deliberately walk the red carpet and then cause a commotion, it's pointless."
Reacting to the veteran star's comment on the cameraman's clothing, he said, “Jaya ji must have several staff members at her house who wear uniforms. But behind the scenes, who knows what their financial situation or personal problems are? Her comments affect not just photographers, but everyone working in the industry, including spot boys. It shows how she views the common man.”
Jaya Bachchan's comment on paparazzi
Speaking to Barkha Dutt on Mojo Story, the actress said, "These people who walk around wearing dirty, tight pants and carrying mobile phones think that just because they have a mobile phone, they can take your picture and say whatever they want. The kind of comments they make, where do they come from, what kind of education do they have, what background do they have? And will these people represent us? Just because they can upload content to YouTube or a social media platform?"
