News Topical, Digital Desk : For Delhi-NCR commuters, the Namo Bharat Train is now going to prove to be not just a means of travel but also a new way to make life's special moments memorable. The NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation), which operates the regional rail service, has launched a unique initiative that will allow people to celebrate their special occasions – such as birthdays, pre-wedding shoots, private functions, or any other memorable moment of joy – directly inside the Namo Bharat Train.

Fixed charges start from Rs 5,000 per hour

Under this initiative, any individual, event organizer, or photo/video production team can book the Namo Bharat coach in advance. Events can be held either on the coach stationed at a train station or on a running track during operation. Fees start at ₹5,000 per hour.

Additionally, additional 30-minute slots will be provided before and after the booking times to facilitate installation and removal of decorations. Events can be held between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., and the entire system will be managed in a manner that does not cause any inconvenience to normal train operations or passengers.

Provides a premium environment

NCRTC stated that Namo Bharat's attractive interiors, modern design, and high speed of 160 km/h make it a unique and memorable location for celebrations. Its presence at stations like Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Meerut South provides visitors with a unique and premium environment for their celebrations.

Additionally, a mock-up coach located at the Duhai Depot is also available for shoots and events. To ensure safety during these events, events will be monitored by NCRTC staff and security. Organizers will have complete freedom to design decorations, which must comply with the standards set by the train authority.

It is noteworthy that the NCRTC has previously implemented a policy to rent out Namo Bharat stations and trains for filming, documentaries, and television commercials. A recent film competition featured young filmmakers from across the country who showcased their talents in short films based on Namo Bharat's infrastructure.

NCRTC believes that the thousands of passengers who travel on Namo Bharat every day have their own stories, of encounters, dreams, and travel experiences. Now, with this new initiative, people can become a part of Namo Bharat's story by connecting their joys with it.
