A shell said to be from World War I

After the surgery, it was found that an eight-inch long World War I (1914-1918) artillery shell was stuck in the 24-year-old man's anus, due to which people present inside the hospital premises had to be evacuated.

However, the bomb was not defused, so bomb disposal experts were called in to defuse the shell, and firefighters were on scene. In addition to the bomb squad, firefighters also arrived and evacuated the hospital.

was removed through surgery

A security cordon was put in place around the medical center while officials investigated the explosive situation. The young man underwent a successful operation to remove the projectile from his anus. Bomb disposal experts then removed the projectile.

However, it is not yet known how the ancient bronze and copper orb got stuck in the man's rectum. French media reports claim the ammunition's strange position may have been the result of a party stunt gone awry.
