News Topical, Digital Desk : Five people have died in two separate road accidents in the district. The first accident occurred near Jabar village on the Rewa-Ranchi highway. Eight people were injured when an auto-rickshaw was hit by an unknown vehicle. Two of them died. This accident occurred at 12 o'clock on Friday night in the Duddhi police station area. The second accident occurred at 3 o'clock in the morning in the Lodhi Chowki area.

It is being told that 18-year-old Jitendra, 22-year-old Dilip, 27-year-old Nitish, residents of Sasanai village, were returning home from a wedding procession in Vaini in a Xylo car. At around three o'clock, the driver, Chhotu, a resident of Kanhaura village, fell asleep. Due to this, the car overturned. Seven people were in the car. 18-year-old Pankaj, 20-year-old Mukesh, and another person were injured, the driver was referred. Driver Chhotelal is in critical condition and has been referred to the Trauma Centre, BHU.

Jitendra's wife is four months pregnant. Her maternal home is in Semia village of Jugail police station. Jitendra had gone out to work as a labourer. He had returned home only eight days ago. Nitish used to run a BC point in the village itself. Dilip also worked as a labourer outside and he too had returned home with Jitendra. Dilip has two daughters. The driver is from Kanhaura and the car belongs to him. All three deceased are from Kon police station area. 18 year old Rama Sahni of Sasanai is also among the injured. Meanwhile, 30 year old auto driver Vivek Kumar and 55 year old Safiq Alam died in a road accident in Duddhi police station area.
