
Ghaziabad Fire: A massive fire broke out in a multi-storey building of Rajnagar District Center located in Kavinagar police station area of Ghaziabad on Monday. After this, there was chaos in the entire area. Frightened people broke the glass panes of the building themselves to save their lives and were seen hanging from the windows. As soon as the information was received, several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and efforts to control the fire were intensified. 10 fire brigade vehicles somehow controlled the fire after one and a half hours of hard work.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started in an office on the top floor of the building and slowly started spreading to others. The people trapped inside panicked due to the sudden spread of smoke and started trying to break the glass to get out to save their lives. Many people were seen hanging from the windows and breaking the glass themselves for help. Firefighters have immediately started rescue operations.
Vehicles called from nearby fire centers
Fire department officials said that immediately after getting information about the fire, fire brigade teams were dispatched from nearby fire centers. 10 fire engines were deployed to control the fire. Rescue work was facing a lot of difficulty due to heavy smoke and height.
In the initial investigation, short circuit is being considered as the cause of the fire, although the fire department has said that it will confirm it only after the investigation is complete. There were many offices and business establishments in the building, due to which there is a lot of crowd during the day. Incidents of fire become common during summer days, so it is important to take precautions to prevent fire.
