News Topical, Digital Desk : The domestic stock market has been in a consolidation mood for 8 consecutive sessions. On Wednesday, July 09, Sensex and Nifty closed with a slight decline. Meanwhile, the figures of institutional investors for today's session have been released. After a day's break, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have once again made purchases. However, this figure of purchase is comparatively low. Buying is also continuing from domestic institutional investors (DIIs).

So far in July 2025, FIIs have remained net sellers in the cash segment. Whereas, DIIs are net buyers. A day earlier, on July 8, FIIs/FPIs had seen a net sell-off of Rs 26.12 crore in the cash market. Whereas, DIIs had made a net purchase of Rs 1,366.82 crore on this day.

DII figures on Wednesday, July 09, 2025: In today's session, domestic institutional investors have bought shares worth a total of Rs 13,350.22 crore in the cash market. Whereas, on this day, they have also sold shares worth Rs 12,429.39 crore. In this way, DIIs have made a net purchase of Rs 920.83 crore in the cash segment today.
