News Topical, Digital Desk : The shooting incident that occurred two days ago in the FM Tower area of Aligarh has now taken a new turn. When police investigating the case raided an Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) hostel based on a tip-off, the discovery has sent shockwaves throughout the university campus and the city. Police recovered not only weapons-related items from a student's room, but also counterfeit currency and suspicious documents.

The entire incident took place at Aligarh Muslim University, where a police team raided AMU's Sir Ziauddin Hall. This action was taken in connection with the firing incident in the FM Tower area, in which the police were already searching for some suspects. Based on information received during the investigation, the police went directly to the hostel, identified a room, and searched it. During the search, the police found a large cache of incriminating material. The recovered items included two 32-bore magazines for a country-made pistol, four 315-bore cartridges, one live 9mm cartridge, four 12-bore cartridges, and several empty cartridges.

Six fake 100 rupee notes

In addition, the police also found six counterfeit 100 rupee notes, raising suspicions that the accused student may be involved in a major fraud or criminal network. Furthermore, eight mobile phones and a laptop were recovered from the room. Police are now examining these electronic devices to determine who the accused was in contact with and how extensive his network is. These devices are expected to yield significant clues. Most shockingly, the police found two different high school mark sheets in the student's name, each with different age information.

The student was identified as Shahbaz alias Chhotu.

Two separate enrollment forms were also recovered. This discovery raises suspicions that the accused student obtained admission to the university using fraudulent documents or was using someone else's identity. According to the police, the student from whose room these items were recovered has been identified as Shahbaz alias Chhotu, a second-year student.

Police started raiding the surrounding areas.

However, when police arrived at the scene, he had already fled. This suggests that he had foreseen the police action. According to the police, an FIR has been registered against the accused student at the Civil Lines police station, and teams have been formed to arrest him. Police have begun raiding nearby areas and searching for his possible hideouts. They are also questioning the accused's close associates and friends.
