An orange alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rain in three districts of Uttarakhand today. Heavy showers with thunderstorms are also likely in other districts. Today, there is an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rain in Bageshwar, Nainital and Rudraprayag. Apart from this, there may be heavy rain with thunderstorms at some places in Dehradun, Tehri, Chamoli, Champawat and Pithoragarh. Also, there is a possibility of showers on the Chardham Yatra route.
