Shashi ran after Shatrughan with a belt

Shashi Kapoor and Shatrughan Sinha worked together in films like Aa Gale Jaa, Kranti, Ilzaam and Shaan. Both of them had a habit of joking and having petty fights on the sets. Shatrughan Sinha often had a habit of reaching late on the sets. Amitabh Bachchan also once mentioned in an interview that Shatrughan used to reach the sets late not by 5 to 10 minutes but by three to three hours. Shashi Kapoor was very upset with this habit of the actor.

Once during the shooting of the film 'Shaan', an incident happened that the actor will remember for the rest of his life. The shooting of the film was going on. Shatrughan Sinha reached the set late as per his habit while Shashi was waiting for him for a long time. On seeing Shatrughan, Shashi got so angry that he ran after him with a belt to hit him.

What was the reason for Shatrughan's late arrival

On this, Shatrughan jokingly said to him while running- Look, I am punctual, that is why the makers have cast me in the film. On this Shashi said, look how shameless he is. Shatrughan Sinha had told in an interview that he did not reach late on the set intentionally. He used to take time to do yoga, due to which he used to get late. Due to this, many times he used to reach the set at 12 in the 9 o'clock shift.
